You’re Not Lost — You’re Traveling
Share
Hey Traveler,
Before we dive in today, I want to tell you why I call you that.
I don’t call you a wanderer.
A wanderer moves without direction.
A wanderer drifts.
A wanderer goes wherever the wind takes them, with no destination in mind.
But you you’re not wandering.
You’re traveling.
A traveler has movement, yes… but they also have a destination.
They move with intention.
With purpose.
Even when the route is long.
Even when there are delays.
Even when life throws detours they never planned for.
A traveler is going somewhere.
And you may not fully know where God is leading you yet…
but the fact that you’re still moving, still searching, still listening
that tells me you’re not lost.
You’re traveling.
What I love most about travelers is this:
No two journeys look the same.
Some of you are on a faith journey, learning how to trust God in deeper, quieter ways.
Some of you are on a healing journey, mending wounds you never asked for.
Some of you are on a career journey, building something from nothing.
Some are on a self-love journey, rediscovering who you are beneath everything life layered on you.
Some of you are on a relationship journey, learning how to love, how to be loved, or how to let go.
Some are on a purpose journey, feeling called but unsure where the call leads.
Some are on a discipline journey, trying to become the version of yourself you’ve always seen in your spirit.
Different paths.
Different pacing.
Different terrain.
And still every one of them matters.
But here’s where most people get stuck.
Every journey no matter how beautiful comes with stopovers.
If you’ve ever flown, you know about layovers.
If you’ve ever taken a train, you know those in-between stops.
That strange space where you’re no longer where you started…
but you’re not where you’re meant to end up either.
And so many people mistake the layover for the destination.
They think:
“This must be it.”
“Maybe I peaked here.”
“Maybe this season is all I get.”
“Maybe this job, this city, this version of me this is where it ends.”
But hear me clearly:
A layover is not a destination.
It’s a checkpoint.
A pause to catch your breath not a place to build your life.
A moment—not a promise.
Every traveler passes through places they were never meant to stay forever.
Sometimes God will let you remain somewhere just long enough to learn…
but not long enough to settle.
So if you’re reading this and you’ve convinced yourself that where you are is all there is
I want you to breathe for a second.
You are not done traveling.
Your story is not finished.
This is only a stop.
A meaningful one.
A stretching one.
Maybe even an uncomfortable one.
But it is not the end.
Your destination is bigger than your layover.
And now that we’re here together…
Welcome to The Journey.

I love your traveling concept. Everyone has their own journey in life.
