Maybe the Seed You Carry Isn’t the One You Expected

Hey Travelers,
I used to think God only gave one type of seed: a dream.
But as I lived, prayed, stumbled, and grew, I began to notice something incredible: God’s seeds are varied, intentional, and crafted differently for each calling. Each seed carries a unique purpose, a design specific to the person receiving it.
Some people receive vision seeds — dreams so vivid that they almost feel like memories of the future, visions that tug at your heart and won’t let go. They hint at something bigger than your current reality.
Others receive skill seeds — talents and abilities that feel natural, yet are divine gifts, meant to serve others and glorify God. What feels like “just me being me” is often a carefully placed tool for a bigger plan.
Then there are burden seeds— the things that break your heart so deeply that you know you’re called to do something about it. They come with sorrow, but also a purpose, a call to action that can change lives.
And finally, faith seeds — promises from God that make no sense at first. They defy logic, timing, and human understanding, yet they cling to your heart and refuse to leave. Faith seeds test you, shape you, and eventually bloom into miraculous realities.
Each seed comes with its own instructions.
Its own season.
Its own pace.
Some seeds sprout quickly, bursting from the soil with visible progress. Others take years underground, growing roots in secret, preparing for the right season to rise. But no matter the timeline, every seed is divine, intentionally placed, and part of God’s greater plan.
It’s tempting to compare your seed to someone else’s tree — their progress, their harvest, their visible success. But Scripture reminds us:
“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” — 1 Corinthians 3:7
Your seed has its own timing, its own path, its own divine purpose. Water it with faith, nurture it with patience, and trust that God’s hands are shaping something extraordinary.

Every seed must be watered, without proper nourishment they will cease to grow.
