Don’t Wait for Perfection: Starting with Imperfection

Hey Travelers,

Do you ever find yourself waiting for everything to be perfect before you start something? I totally get it. It’s tempting to think we need all the details, all the resources, all the right conditions. But here’s the thing: perfection is overrated.

Romans 8:28 reminds us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” Starting imperfectly doesn’t mean it’s not good. It means you’re trusting God with your messy, unpolished self. He can work with your imperfections and turn them into something beautiful.

The truth is, perfection is a trap. If you wait for everything to be perfect, you might never start. Instead, take action, even if things aren’t lined up perfectly. God can handle the messiness of your beginnings and will work everything out for good.

So go ahead—start where you are, with what you have, and let God do the rest.

What a beautiful article about not relying on our perfection to do God’s Will. His perfection always exceeds our messiness!
