A Fresh Start Requires Letting Go
Share
Hey Travelers,
Sometimes, the hardest part about starting fresh is letting go of what’s behind us. Maybe it’s old habits, mindsets, or even relationships that we’ve outgrown. It’s tough, right? It can feel like you’re losing something valuable. But here’s the truth: you can’t step into the new while holding on to the old.
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” God’s calling you to embrace the new—to leave behind what no longer serves you and step into the future He has for you. It’s not always easy, but it’s necessary.
Think about what’s holding you back. Is there something you need to release in order to move forward? A past hurt, an old way of thinking, or a habit that keeps you stuck? Letting go isn’t just about saying goodbye—it’s about making room for God to do something even bigger and better in your life.
Take a moment today and ask God to help you let go of whatever is holding you back. Trust that He has something better in store for you.

I love your advice about learning to let go. It is understandable that one must continuously practice this mindset, in order to, move forward to the next chapter in their lives. James 4: 14 explains that life is like a mist, its only here for a little while only to vanishes into the wind.
Love all of this. Keep going …
